Rampar obtains ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its Managed Services and Hosting activities
Rampar is a major French player in Integration and Managed Services in the areas of Cybersecurity, Cloud and Infrastructures. In order to meet the security requirements that Rampar imposes on itself to support its customers, the company has decided to have its Managed Services and Hosting activities certified.
ISO/IEC 27001 is a standard that specifies the requirements for information security management systems (ISMS). It allows the maintenance of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, as well as legal compliance. Obtaining the ISO/IEC 27001 certification shows that Rampar meets this stringent international data security standard.
Marc Berger, Partner in charge of Managed Services and Cloud at Rampar, states: “Rampar’s Managed Services business manages and operates its customers’ information systems, and for many of them, Rampar hosts all or part of their information systems. In this context, it is essential for us to protect and secure their data. By obtaining the ISO 27001 certification, Rampar confirms its commitment to all its customers and partners in the protection of their information systems.”
To obtain this certification, Rampar had its ISMS audited by an independent organization on more than 150 control points.
Marc Berger adds: “Preparing for this certification has been a long process lasting more than a year, but above all it is the logical next step for Rampar because our working methods, which have already been in place for several years, follow the ISO 27001 standard. The daily work of the internal teams to maintain the highest level of security in all circumstances is rewarded with this certification.”
